Unlock PDF would remove password protection from your PDF files, given the correct password, producing a decrypted copy you can open without a password.

Why isn't this available yet?pdf-lib, our current PDF engine, does not support PDF decryption. ItsignoreEncryption option only suppresses the load-time error — it does not actually decrypt the content or remove the encryption dictionary. Implementing reliable PDF decryption requires a specialized engine that we haven't yet evaluated.

We're researching browser-compatible decryption engines that maintain our privacy commitment — your files never leave your device. This tool will be available once we find a suitable engine that meets our quality and privacy standards.
